Waiting for Summer’s Return

Kim Vogel Sawyer
Bethany House

Summer Steadman cannot leave the small town. The graves of her husband and children lie
just outside the city limits. A mother wouldn’t leave her children, would she? But how will she
support herself, she’s lost everything.

Widower Peter Ollenberger needs a tutor for his son, Thomas. Despite frowns from the
Mennonite community, he asks Summer, an educated lady, to stay in an outbuilding on his
farm. A bond is forged between the child, the lady, and soon the father. Will the widow and the
widower get another chance at love?

The straight-laced Mennonite community is unhappy with the outsider in their midst. But her
care for Thomas and Peter’s steadfast character leads them to allow the stranger to find
refuge. Will Summer see God hasn’t turned his back on her?

Kim Vogel Sawyer’s strong voice resonates in her debut novel for Bethany House. She has
created excellent characters for the reader to love and woven an intricate plot of love lost and
love regained. We look forward to the next book by this author.

Fury

Bill Bright and Jack Cavanaugh
Howard Books

“Once again, his best friend betrayed him.” So begins the story of sixteen-year-old Daniel
Cooper who only wants to be left alone to enjoy his music. When he witnesses a murder, but is
unable to convince his uncle he speaks the truth, he’s forced to face those he’s accused and
apologize. He knows he must run for his life.

Thus begins a tale of relentless pursuit: by a killer, an unforgiving uncle, and the Holy Spirit.
Daniel’s encounter with evangelist Charles Finney changes his life and gives him the courage
he needs to face his future.

Fury is last book of the series The Great Awakenings co-written by Bright and Cavanaugh. Fast-
paced, the exciting race with Daniel and plot twists keeps the reader turning pages.

Look Great, Feel Great
12 Keys to Enjoying Healthy Life Now

Joyce Meyer

Joyce Meyer gives practical advice to readers on how to live a quality life through better eating
and exercise. She's faced the same battles and learned to overcome. When she says, "Will it
be easy" she knows the answers. No, but life improves when we follow the right pathway.

Excellent advice given in realistic portions.

Like Sheep Gone Astray
Leslie Sherrod

Anthony Murdock has committed a mistake and has to own up to it. Doing that threatens to
change his life forever. His wife Terri must face demons of her own. But with God's help, they'll
survive.

Sherod's fresh voice and insight will give us a strong second novel, I'm sure. I look forward to
reading it.

Forgivin' Ain't Forgettin'
Mata Elliott

Cassidy Beckett and Trevor Monroe both have ghosts in their past they must release so they
might move on in life. God places a path in front of them, and when they choose to walk it,
forgiveness and happiness meet them.

Mata Elliott's unique voice and unusual twists give her debut novel zest. It probes life and
speaks truth.
